Today is thursday and I woke up to the sound of a knocking on my door. Before I could even usher the movement to come in, Missy storms into my room speaking in a hectic voice that Katie was in the hospital! Upon hearing this news, I immediately snapped out of dazed phase and was wide awake. Apparently she left in the middle of night and told neither of us that she was in immense pain. This finally allowed me to connect the dots as to what the commotion was last night when I heard the front door slamming. I just figured it was nothing and resumed my sleeping ways. Now I feel a sense of guilt because I didn’t go out of my way to see what was going on ): Katie was so considerate of our feelings and didn’t have the heart to wake us up in the dead of night but I didn’t even have the courtesy to get my ass out of bed and peek outside. I know there wasn’t much I could do but I could’ve still kept her company while she waited for her dad to come pick her up. ugh…I’m such an amazing roommate /= Turns out she had bronchitis and a possibility of a blood clot somewhere? They took samples of blood and had x rays done on her. Hopefully nothing is wrong and she gets healthy again. I’m currently kinda of worried because Katie and I have the exact same symptoms: a cold that has lasted more than a month, coughing fits that won’t go away, ears getting plugged for days on end, no sense of relief, fatigue. I feel like she was progressing faster than I was and maybe the chest pain will catch up with me in a couple of days if I don’t get any better. Bronchitis is said to be quite contagious >_< I think I might have to get a check up sometime soon and avoid the whole emergency hospital escapade while I still can. Bleh, I blame Corvallis for all this sickness flying around :P
So yupppp, I had the urge to blog and what happened today was pretty epic. Thought I should share (: I don’t have class til two and Brian is sleeping. What better to do than catch up on tumblr lol I haven’t been on here since FOREVER! I think I might start randomly blogging every now and then. We’ll see how long this lasts. I get bored easily :D
